How to build underground storage in Going Medieval

The summer months in Going Medieval can become extremely brutal because of the hot days. The warm weather makes it incredibly difficult to keep any of your food fresh, forcing you to push your villagers to constantly find new ways to produce food or find them starving. Luckily, there is a method to keep some of your food preserved from the dreaded heat, and that’s by taking advantage of underground storage.

To create an underground area, you need to dig. You can dig by mining a certain location designating a mining location. You can do this by clicking the pickaxe icon on your screen’s lower right hand and then highlighting a certain area that you want your villagers to dig. After you’ve done that, increase the priority of the mining task of any villager good at mining, and they’ll handle it whenever they can find the time.

You want to make sure you mine two layers down. The first layer is okay, but we’ve found the area becomes colder when you reach a second level, so after you’ve mined the first layer, highlight the location one more time for your villager to dig deeper. Before you make the second layer, make a staircase on one side of the underground storage area. Your villagers are going to need this to make your way down. For the second layer that you highlight to mine, make sure to leave a single strip of land for your villagers to use to walk.

With both layers mined up, and a pair of staircases, the next step is to surround that area with walls, a roof, and a door for your villagers to use to enter it. Make sure the door is in front of the stairs so they can walk right down into it. You want to treat the underground storage area just like a regular room, where any items inside of it would otherwise decay without a roof over it.

Once you have your walls constructed and the roof is finished, the final thing to do is to make the location a stockpile area. You can do this by going to the lower left hand of your screen and clicking the ‘zone’ tab or by hitting the F7 key. You can then highlight the area you want to make your stockpile location, click on it, and then click on the ‘food’ and ‘carcass’ piles that you want to allow your villagers to store there. All of your food should go there, but under the ‘carcass’ tab, make sure to deselect humans because you don’t want dead attackers being stuck in there.

To make sure this is the only location your villagers store food, go to your default storage area, and make sure to deselect food. Now, your villagers will only place food in the underground storage area, preserving them during the hot summer months.

Where to destroy spooky TV sets for the Fortnite Season 6

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 Primal is drawing to a close and prepping for what appears to be an imminent alien invasion. There are still last minute opportunities to level up your battle pass if you’re not quite happy with the progress you’ve made thus far. Leaving unclaimed V-Bucks on the battle pass is never ideal, and the super leveling skinsare definitely a good reason to push past the level 100 marker. Completing the last few XP Quests are your best bet to achieve your goals. One Fortnite Quest requires you to destroy spooky TV sets, but doesn’t provide the locations. This guide will show you where to find them and how to best complete this challenge.

There are seven spooky TV sets scattered all over the Fortnite map. You’ll need to find five of them, so you won’t be able to complete this Quest in just a single match. You’re best bet is to keep the locations in mind as you work on other Quests so you can visit each location along the way to other objectives. You’re sure to run into other players trying to complete this challenge too, so be wary.

All seven spooky TV set locations:All you’re looking for is a TV set with a chair or two pulled up to it. The TV screen is on and glowing, so each should be pretty obvious. Just interact with each to get credit.

One is on a small sandy island northeast of Craggy Cliffs. The next is just west of Fort Crumpet, somewhat hidden behind a bush near a cliff on the west coastline of the island. You can find another spooky TV set in a small grove northeast of Holly Hedges. Travel southeast of Slurpy Swamp, and you’ll find a TV set tucked away roughly halfway between Slurpy Swamp and the the Flush Factory. The next is at a campsite on a cliff just north of the island named Camp Cod.

You can find another TV set directly west of Lazy Lake between two tall trees on a hill overlooking the river. The last TV set is located in the highland area just southeast of Dirty Docks. Look for a small cluster of trees about halfway between the two power line structures and you’ll find the last spooky tv set tucked away at the base of one of the trees.

Do you always felt to race with your enemies in Playerunknown’s Battleground? PUBG developers have heard you, soon Racing mode will arrive in PUBG LABS. This mode will completely change the experience of the game. Now, as you battle your opponents, you can also race across tracks on the newly updated Miramar.

ABOUT THE RACE

The players can select this mode on the homepage of the game. The player will select the vehicles at the start of the race. They could choose from Motorcycle, Buggy, Coupe RB, Dirt Bike, Mirado. Each vehicle comes equipped with a set of different weapons. Just after reading this line, I remembered the car combat franchise ‘Death Race’. Use the F8 key (Console: D-Pad down) to toggle the vehicle selection UI and change vehicles.

START RACE

The players are spawned in their vehicle as the race countdown begins. You won’t be able to move or attack other players until the race starts. The players are invincible for 10 seconds at the match start whereas 5 seconds invincible after each respawns. The game has a fixed racer track for the players as shown below. Both the tracks are one, start to finish.

Checkpoints

To save your progress in the game, you have to cross the checkpoints. Checkpoints serve as respawn points. Going off-track for too long engages an out of bounds timer and when the countdown hits zero, you will be respawned near the latest checkpoint you’ve passed.

Boost Crates

The players need to drive through red crates to collect boosts. The boost crates respawn a short time after being collected. You can use the shift key to consume your boost which brings you Full Speed. When killed, you will respawn with your boost gauge set to max. Vehicles such as motorcycles and Dirt Bikes are not given the boost to balance the gameplay.

Ammo Crates

Now comes the best part of the mode, Ammo crates. The players drive through blue crates to collect ammo. Crates provide a small amount of ammo for your equipped weapon. Ammo crates respawn a short time after being collected.

The player that crossed the finish line first, grabs the checkered flag and wins the race. The rest of the players will only get 60 seconds to finish the rave once the winner crosses the finish line.

The new mode announced by the developers just looks amazing. If all the things go well, we can soon see this mode available to the mobile version of the game. Till then race hard.

Palia: Welcome Home Revealed for PC as a Community Focused MMO

There are a number of MMOs that tend to play the same way, especially in recent years, and it looks like a new developer is looking to try something a bit different. Singularity 6, a team made up of veterans from Riot Games and Blizzard, has announced that they are working on a new community-based MMO called Palia: Welcome Home. Players can choose to play solo but playing with friends allows for more interactions with things such as cooking, farming, and even house decoration.

While there will be combat, players can instead focus on exploration, building a home, farming, and making friends as they take on the role of humans who once vanished thousands of years ago only to now re-emerge into a new world filled with fantastical creatures and beings that players can befriend and even romance over time. For now Palia is currently preparing to enter a pre-alpha testing stage, where interested players can sign up for here, and will be available on PC sometime in the future.
